Taro Kawabe

Taro Kawabe was appointed to our Board as of March 27, 2020 after the closing of the merger between Aircastle Limited and an entity controlled by affiliates of Marubeni Corporation (“Marubeni”) and Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited.  Mr. Kawabe is currently an Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer of Finance and Leasing Business Division of Marubeni.  Previously, he was Senior Operating Officer of Finance and Leasing Business Division of Marubeni from April 2019 to March 2020.  Prior to that, Mr. Kawabe was the General Manager of the Leasing Business Department of Marubeni from April 2016 to March 2019.  Mr. Kawabe joined Marubeni in April 1990.  Mr. Kawabe received his degree from Waseda University in 1990.
